Blood drive needed for students and teacher injured in Ocean Academy accident

By Aaron Humes: A blood drive is being sought to be organized for three of the injured persons in Friday’s traffic accident involving the Ocean Academy basketball team on the Philip Goldson Highway.

Two boys are reportedly in a coma and an adult remains hospitalized with injuries at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH) in Belize City, while two others are at Northern Regional Hospital in Orange Walk Town.

Sources attending to the injured say blood is urgently needed to assist them with recovery and survival.
