By Aaron Humes: The Belize Bar has a new member – a Guyanese-born manager for legal affairs for the National Bank of Belize who married a Belizean magistrate.
28-year-old Sheneiza Clarke-Dennison’s Bar ceremony was held on Friday before High Court Justice Tawanda Hondora. Clarke-Dennison was supported by Senior Counsels Philip Zuniga and Simeon Sampson and attorney Estevan Perera.
Clarke-Dennison graduated with distinction in her law courses at the University of Guyana and earned the certificate of merit from the Hugh Wooding Law School as the second most outstanding student in 2023-2024. She also won five academic prizes for acing courses at the school located in the Bahamas.
Clarke-Dennison credits her success to her mother’s unwavering support and sacrifices, who raised her and her 12 siblings as a single parent. She is also grateful for the continuous support of her husband Mannan Dennison, a Belizean Magistrate employed at the Belize City Magistrate’s Civil Court.
Clarke-Dennison vowed to discharge her duty to the court and her clients with the highest ethical standards, and to continually learn and grow as a competent advocate, upholding the law and defending the Constitution with honour and dignity. We congratulate Clarke-Dennison for her achievements and continued contribution to our country.
