By Breaking Belize News Staff: Destiny Allen, a 25-year-old mother of two from Zacaranda Street, Belize City, is back home with her family after spending five nights on remand at the Belize Central Prison. Allen, who was charged with theft and using insulting words to a police officer, was unable to post her $1,000 bail until this morning.

The allegations stem from an incident in which Allen is accused of stealing a black and red iPhone 14 Pro Max valued at $1,300. She was also accused of threatening and using insulting words toward a police constable, reportedly saying, “Watch it b—h, I wah kill you. F— with me, you b—h.”

Allen was arraigned in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court on November 27, 2024, and was remanded after initially failing to meet bail conditions. Her next court appearance is scheduled for January 10, 2024.
