By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Independence Primary School, representing the Stann Creek District, has triumphed as the National Champions of the national football tournament organized by the National Sports Council of Belize. The tournament was held on Friday, December 6, at the Football Federation of Belize Football Stadium in Belmopan.
Independence Primary School emerged victorious, claiming the championship title by defeating St Joseph’s RC from Spanish Lookout, Cayo, who secured second place.
The third place was captured by St Francisco de Jeronimo RC from Pueblo Viejo, Toledo.
The tournament showcased exceptional talent, with Daniellie Black from Independence Primary School being named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) for her outstanding performance throughout the competition.
