By Breaking Belize News Staff: Cool weather continues to prevail according to the National Meteorological Service. Skies today are forecast to be variably cloudy with isolated showers if any in the daytime. Tonight, a few showers and periods of rain will occur mostly along the coast and offshore later in the night.
High temperatures peak at 80 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 82 degrees inland and 70 degrees in the hills. Tonight, temperatures fall to 70 degrees along the coast, 65 degrees inland and 59 degrees in the hills.
Winds are northerly to northeasterly at 10 to 20 knots and seastate moderate to rough. A small craft caution is in effect for gusty winds and locally rough seas.
Tides will be high at 9:03 this morning and 7:56 this evening and low at 1:45 this afternoon. The sun sets at 5:20 this evening.
Saturday will be cloudy at times with a few showers and rainy periods countrywide, reduced to coastal and southern areas on Saturday night.
