By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Belize City Council has publicly thanked DigiWallet and Bowen & Bowen for their invaluable support in advancing youth development initiatives organized by the Belize City Council and The Child Advisory Body of Belize City. The recently concluded 2nd Annual Peewee Basketball Christmas Classic Finals, held at the Civic Center in Belize City, stands as a testament to this fruitful collaboration, the Belize City Council said.

“As we wrap up another avenue of positive youth development through sports, allow us to show our gratitude to DigiWallet and Bowen & Bowen who continuously pay it forward in supporting efforts like these,” the Belize City Council said in a statement posted on social media on Tuesday.

“Likewise, a huge shoutout to all our parents, residents, and other supporters who showed up to witness this event made possible through the collaborative efforts of Mayor Wagner & Councillors, the Belize City Council, and the Child Advisory Body of Belize City!”

The Belize City Council said it remains steadfast in its commitment to providing impactful avenues for fostering the next generation of Belizean athletes and leaders. The Belize City Council promised to continue organizing the Peewee Basketball League.
