Man killed when motorbike and pick-up collide on Hummingbird Highway

By Aaron Humes: Mario Quijada is the first traffic-accident fatality for 2025 following a collision between his motorcycle and a Toyota Hilux pick-up truck.

According to police, the incident occurred on Sunday near Mile 47 on the Hummingbird Highway. Quijada collided with the Hilux and was pronounced dead at the Western Regional Hospital, Belmopan.

An investigation is being carried out to determine if any charges will be levied.”
