Illegal Glock ‘nine’ found during response to shooting report

By Aaron Humes: Police called to the scene of a reported shooting incident on Tuesday night instead found a firearm inside a kitchen refrigerator. 

Police responded to Thelma’s Kitchen at Caesar Ridge Road, Belize City  and canvassed the area however no expended shells were found.

They searched inside the restaurant for illegal firearms and ammunition and recovered a nine-millimeter Glock  inside a refrigerator. 

Police say no license for the firearm was found and two adults were detained.
