FFB announces Belize U17 Women’s National Team Roster and Technical Staff for CONCACAF Women’s U17 Qualifiers in Trinidad & Tobago

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Football Federation of Belize (FFB) officially presented the U17 Belize Women’s National Team and their technical staff as the team prepared to leave for Trinidad and Tobago to represent Belize in the 2025 CONCACAF Women’s U17 Qualifiers next week.

After the presentation on Friday morning, the U17 BWNT departed for Port of Spain to compete in Group B against Trinidad and Tobago, Honduras, and the US Virgin Islands.

The team, headed by Head Coach Joseph Waight, consists of two goalkeepers, seven defenders, nine midfielders, and two forwards.

Schedule for Group B Matches:

  • Monday, January 29, 2025: Belize vs. Honduras
  • Wednesday, January 31, 2025: Belize vs. Trinidad and Tobago (Host Country)
  • Friday, February 2, 2025: Belize vs. US Virgin Islands

All Group B matches will be held at the Ato Boldon Stadium in Couva, Trinidad and Tobago. The winners of the group will advance to the next round, where they will compete with all the group winners in April-May 2025 for the CONCACAF Championship.

The Football Federation of Belize wished the U17 BWNT good luck as they left for Trinidad and Tobago. FFB also asked fans and supporters to follow the team’s progress and journey throughout the tournament through FFB Official social media platforms.
