Alberto August slams Government for “prolonged unavailability of license plates”

By Zoila Palma: During a press conference on Tuesday, Alberto August slammed the Government of Belize for “prolonged unavailability of license plates,” 7News reports.

“For the very first time in the history of this country, the nation is experiencing a prolonged unavailability of vehicle license plate, vehicle stickers, and driver’s license. We will recall the minister telling the nation that this matter would have been addressed by September of last year. When that failed, the prime minister himself came out and said this matter would have been addressed by the end of the year,” August said.

In addition, August says that the bus terminals across Belize are dilapidated and the Ministry and Government have failed to address this.
