Belize Police Department hosts first All officers conference for 2025

By Zoila Palma : The Belize Police Department (BPD) is hosting the first All Officers Conference of 2025 at the National Police Training Academy.

The BPD noted that this significant event brings together officers from across the country for a crucial exchange of ideas, best practices, and professional development opportunities.

The conference is graced by the presence of high-level officials, including Prime Minister John Briceno, Minister of Home Affairs and New Growth Kareem Musa, who commended the officers for their dedicated service throughout the last year.

Attendees include Sharole Carr-Saldivar, Chief Executive Officer in the Ministry of Home Affairs, and Commissioner of Police Chester Williams, who emphasized the importance of this collaborative gathering for enhancing policing in Belize.

The conference agenda is packed include discussions aimed at strengthening community policing, fostering trust and collaboration between officers and the communities they serve.
