By Horace Palacio: A blanket of sunshine continues over Belize today, with the dry season firmly in control—but there’s still a touch of moisture sneaking in, especially in the north this morning and the south by nightfall.
Forecasters are calling for isolated showers under mostly sunny skies, making it another warm and relatively dry day. The inland heat continues to climb, reaching up to 93°F (34°C), while coastal communities can expect 86°F (30°C). It’s another day for light clothing and lots of hydration.
The breeze from the east to northeast at 10–15 knots will keep things moderately choppy out on the water, with waves rising to 6 feet in some areas. No marine advisories are in effect at this time, but small craft operators should still remain alert.
Tomorrow’s weather pattern holds steady—partly cloudy skies and isolated showers, with an increased chance of rain in southern Belize.
With Easter just around the corner and warm weather holding, today’s forecast offers the perfect balance of sunshine and a few refreshing sprinkles.
