House fire in Biscayne village leaves structure completely destroyed

By Aaron Humes: A devastating house fire occurred earlier today at mile 25 on the Philip Goldson Highway, resulting in the total loss of a wooden structure. The Ladyville Fire Department responded promptly to the incident but arrived to find the building completely engulfed in flames.

Firefighters worked diligently to contain the fire, but despite their efforts, the structure was beyond salvaging by the time they arrived on the scene. Witnesses reported seeing thick smoke billowing from the site before emergency crews could take action.

As of now, officials are still working to determine the cause of the fire and verify the identity of the building’s owner.
