By Zoila Palma: Commissioner of Police says the US Veteran who hijacked a Tropic Air plane on Thursday morning attempted to enter Belize through Northern border.
Commissioner of Police Chester Williams has reported to the Philip Goldson International Airport following reports of a hijacked Tropic Air plane.
Compol Williams says that he was in contact with a passenger throughout the entire ordeal. Compol Williams says that the hijacker had a knife. Compol Williams says that the hijacker is a US Veteran that had attempted to enter Belize via the Northern Border and was unable to. Therefore, the police are unable to ascertain how he entered the country.
