By Aaron Humes: Searches continue for Jeremy “Bush” Mushlar, a local fisherman who was reported missing after a fishing trip on Tuesday night. Mushlar, who was last seen in a dory off the coast of Dangriga, has not been accounted for since approximately 8 p.m. that evening.
According to reports, Mushlar was out at sea with three companions when they realized that the fish were not biting. The other fishermen decided to return to shore, but Mushlar opted to continue fishing alone in his dory. The three men returned to the sea after 11 p.m., but they found no sign of him.
Friends and relatives have urged anyone with information to come forward. Anyone who may have seen Mushlar or has any information related to his disappearance is encouraged to contact 610-6094 or visit the nearest police station.
