Beheaded Toledo murder victim identified as Jonathan Jeremiah Coc

By Aaron Humes: Police in Punta Gorda, Toledo, are investigating a murder following a grisly discovery made early this morning on Good Friday, in the Indianville area. 

At approximately 9:00 AM, police were called to an area behind a house on Mahogany Street, where they found the body of a man with multiple chop wounds to his neck and back.

The victim has since been identified as Jeremiah Coc, whose family members posted on social media saying they forgive the killer, but condemning his actions, saying Jeremiah “didn’t deserved [sic] to be chopped up like a piece of wood.”

Investigations into Coc’s murder continue.
