Sunshine dominates Easter Sunday as fair conditions continue

By Horace Palacio: Sunday brings more of the same pleasant weather to Belize, with mostly sunny skies, gentle cloud cover, and only isolated showers expected throughout the country. According to the National Meteorological Service, the dominant east-southeasterly airflow continues to support warm and fair conditions.

Coastal areas can expect daytime highs near 88°F (31°C) and nighttime lows around 76°F (24°C). Inland regions will be hotter, peaking at 92°F (33°C), with cooler night temperatures around 72°F (22°C).

At sea, conditions remain moderate to rough. Gusty winds and waves between 5 to 7 feet have prompted a Small Craft Caution, with boaters urged to remain cautious while navigating Belize’s waters.

Looking ahead, Monday is forecast to bring a few more cloudy spells, but showers will remain mostly isolated across the country.
