Belize City home robbed of $5,000 cash and gun

By Zoila Palma:  Police are investigating a burglary reported at a two-story residence at the corner of New Road and Victoria Street.

A 42-year-old businessman, told authorities that sometime between July 2024 and April 21, 2025, the upper flat of his home was broken into.

The property, previously occupied by his father, now residing in the U.S. was burglarized.

Stolen from the residence was a black 9mm Glock pistol with two magazines and 40 live rounds, valued at $5,000 BZD.

Police investigations continue.
