By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Premier Women’s League of Belize (PWLB) returns this weekend with high-energy matchups in Week 6, promising fierce competition. The Isidoro Beaton Stadium in Belmopan will be the battlefield for two clashes, as teams fight to secure their place in the league standings.

On Saturday, April 26, second-place Jewel Fury FC will take to their home turf against the Cayo Dreamers, looking to dominate their opponents. The following day, Sunday, April 27, third-place Napoles FC will host league leaders, Sagitun GIRLZ, eager to claim victory in front of their home crowd. Both matches kick off at 4:00 pm, ensuring an action-packed weekend for football lovers.

As the season progresses, Sagitun Girlz lead the standings with 13 points, having secured four wins and one draw. Fury trail with ten points from three wins, one draw, and one loss. Napoles sit at six points following two victories and three defeats. Meanwhile, Cayo Dreamers continue their search for a breakthrough, having lost all four of their games without earning any points.
