San Pedro community blood drive set for May 3

By Aaron Humes: Ambergris Caye is gearing up for an important event as the local Polyclinic will host a blood drive on Saturday, May 3, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The blood drive aims to address an urgent need for all blood types and invites both locals and tourists to participate in this life-saving initiative.

Organized by the San Pedro Community Blood Drive Group, this event encourages residents to “Be a hero! Give the Gift of Life.” With rising demands for blood donations, the community is urged to lend a hand and support those in need.

Participants can make appointments via WhatsApp or text, reaching out to one of the following numbers: 615-4300, 614-9115, 615-2005, or 630-2005. Walk-ins are also welcomed. Potential donors should be between the ages of 18 and 65 and are advised to eat before donating.
