By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Football Federation of Belize (FFB) this week released its first-ever FFB Quarterly Newsletter, a new initiative designed to keep fans, players, stakeholders, and the wider public informed on key developments within Belizean football.

According to the FFB, the newsletter is intended to serve as a regular platform for transparency and engagement. Marketing and Communications Director Yashmin Juan emphasized that the newsletter reflects the Federation’s commitment to strengthening reporting and improving communication across all levels of the sport.

“This is a major milestone not only for my department but for the Football Federation of Belize in our ongoing efforts to promote transparency, strengthen reporting, and ensure that our community remains adequately informed and engaged,” Juan stated.

The 14-page first issue features a range of stories covering various aspects of Belizean football, including updates on the U-17 Men’s National Team, a report on FFB President Sergio Chuc’s re-election as Vice President of CONCACAF, and coverage of the FFB’s coaching certification ceremony. It also highlights the 2025 kickoff of the Premier Women’s League of Belize, details from the 2025 FFB Congress, and insights into the sold-out Belize vs Costa Rica match.

Additionally, the newsletter includes updates on the U-17 Women’s National Football Team, a feature on the Referees Department, and a report on Earl Jones, the FFB’s Head of Legal, Governance, Compliance Department, and FIFA Forward Development Program, who successfully completed the FIFA Diploma in Football Law.

The FFB stated that the FFB Quarterly Newsletter marks a new chapter in how the Federation communicates its progress, showcases accomplishments, and reinforces its commitment to open and consistent communication.

“I look forward to keeping you connected, informed, and inspired as we continue to grow the beautiful game in Belize,” Juan said.
