Vehicle and other belongings stolen as boat builder and friends held up at home

By Aaron Humes: Police are investigating an armed home invasion reported on Thursday afternoon in Ladyville.

A resident of Mile 11, Philip Goldson Highway reported that about 2:20 pm he was in his parlor eating when he saw a man approaching his doorway with a firearm in his hand. He ran out of his home and to his neighbor for assistance and called the police, leaving his workers and friends at his residence. He then observed from his neighbor’s residence that several men had stolen his son’s sky blue Honda Pilot SUV with license plate number BZC-38404.

After seeing that the men had left his home, he then returned and his workers and friends informed him that they were robbed of their personal belongings, including several cell phones and about $450.
