Canadian tourist falls to death in San Pedro Town; investigation underway

By Aaron Humes: Loran Dale Radchenko, a 47-year-old Canadian residing at Alaia Resort on Ambergris Caye, fell to his death at the Watermark Hotel over the weekend.

According to police, Radchenko was staying at the Watermark overnight on Saturday, having checked in with a female at a quarter to 11, and was last seen with other persons at the room, drinking, just before 3 a.m. They left him alone in the room on the third floor of the building and he was later discovered outside.

Police are investigating, including reviewing surveillance footage from the area.
