Orange Walk FA: San Jose Pumas defeat Trial Farm Legends 2-0 to advance to semifinals

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Current subchampions San Jose Pumas FC secured their place in the semifinals of the Orange Walk Football Association 2024-2025 1st Division Closing Championship with a 2-0 victory over Trial Farm Legends in their quarterfinal second leg at Louisiana Football Field on Sunday, April 27, 2025.

After a 2-2 draw in the first leg, San Jose Pumas needed a win to progress. Oscar Castañeda proved to be the difference-maker, finding the net in the 37th and 45th minutes to give his team the decisive edge.

Trial Farm Legends struggled to respond and failed to break down San Jose Pumas’ defense.

With the win, San Jose Pumas booked their semifinal showdown against unbeaten Progresso FC on May 4 at 5:00 p.m.
