By Horace Palacio: Family and friends are mourning the passing of Hortence Reimer, who died on April 28, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on November 21, 1955, Hortence was a warm and compassionate presence in the lives of many.

She was known for her quiet strength, her unwavering faith, and her ability to bring people together. Whether offering a kind word, preparing a meal, or simply being present, Hortence had a way of making others feel supported and loved.

Her passing has left a deep sense of loss among those who knew her best. Family and friends remember her as someone who gave generously of herself and who always had time for others. Her home was a place of comfort, her words a source of wisdom, and her love a constant reassurance.

Though she is no longer with us in person, Hortence’s memory will live on through the values she shared and the lives she shaped. The legacy she leaves is one of kindness, humility, and enduring love.

A wake will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, 30th April 2025, at the Ayala Residence on Jalacte Street, Maya Mopan, Belmopan City. The funeral will follow on Thursday, 1st May 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at the same location.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to everyone who has reached out with words of comfort during this difficult time. May her soul rest in peace, and may her memory continue to bless those who loved her.
