Belize District FA 1st Division: Reggae Boyz manage 1-0 victory over Hattieville United

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Reggae Boyz squeaked past Hattieville United 1-0 on Saturday, April 26, securing three crucial points in the BDFA First Division Championship at the Marion Jones Sports Complex in Belize City.

The tightly contested match saw both teams battling for dominance, but it was Jaheem Thomas who delivered the breakthrough in the 26th minute. His well-placed strike proved to be the difference between the sides as Reggae Boyz successfully defended their lead for the remainder of the match.

Hattieville United pressed forward in search of an equalizer, creating several dangerous opportunities, but Reggae Boyz’s defense held firm under pressure.

Action continues on Labour Day,Thursday, May 1, when Survivors FC take on Hattieville United Youth Sporting Club, and Old Road Defenders clash with Kelly Street Bombers.
