Orange Walk FA Semifinal: Progresso-San Jose Pumas clash ends in 0-0 stalemate

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The battle for a spot in the Orange Walk Football Association (OWFA) Amateur 1st Division Championship Final remains wide open after Progresso FC and San Jose Pumas played to a tense 0-0 draw in their semifinal first leg.

With neither side able to break the deadlock, everything will be decided on Sunday, May 11, at Louisiana Football Field in Orange Walk.

Meanwhile, defending champions Yo Creek United moved closer to another title with a commanding 4-2 victory over Mi Gente in the other semifinal matchup.

Sunday’s second leg will see Yo Creek United and Mi Gente face off at 3:00 p.m., followed by the decisive match between Progresso and San Jose Pumas at 5:00 p.m.
