50 Belizean families receive keys to new homes in Highland Estate Housing Project

By Zoila Palma: Today marked a milestone achievement for the Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing (MIDH) as 50 Belizean families received the keys to their new homes in the freshly completed Highland Estate community.

The homes, made possible through funding from Taiwan represent the Government of Belize’s ongoing commitment to providing affordable housing solutions to citizens who have never before owned a home.

The new homeowners, selected from across the country, are part of a larger national effort to improve living conditions and empower families through stable housing.

The Highland Estate project stands as a testament to the strong partnership between Belize and Taiwan and the government’s focus on social upliftment through infrastructure development.
