Vehicle completely destroyed by fire in San Antonio, Cayo

By Breaking Belize News Staff: A vehicle went up in flames in the village of San Antonio, Cayo District, earlier today, leaving nothing but charred metal behind. According to reports from the scene, the fire erupted suddenly and quickly consumed the entire vehicle, giving nearby residents little time to react.\

Eyewitnesses say the blaze started just off the main road, and within minutes, thick black smoke could be seen billowing into the sky. Villagers attempted to assist, but the fire spread too rapidly to be contained.

Firefighters responded to the scene, but by the time they arrived, the vehicle had already been completely destroyed. No injuries were reported, and police are currently investigating the cause of the fire.

At this time, it remains unclear whether the fire was due to a mechanical fault or foul play. The vehicle’s owner has not yet been publicly identified.
