The ceremony took place at the Yabra Community Resource Center in Belize City, with top police officials in attendance, including ACP Howell Gillett, ACP Hilberto Romero, Superintendents Denroy Barrow and Egbert Castillo, as well as Thompson’s family and fellow officers.
As part of the event, 25 officers were recognized for completing a two-day community policing training, and 13 received Certificates of Appreciation for their outstanding service in the Eastern Division.
