Hot and dry weather prevails across Belize today

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Fair, warm, and dry weather will dominate conditions across Belize today, according to the morning forecast from the National Meteorological Service. Sunny skies with a few cloudy spells are expected throughout the day, followed by partly cloudy to clear skies tonight. No rainfall is expected during this period.

Winds will blow from the east to southeast at speeds between 10 and 20 knots, producing moderate sea conditions with wave heights between four to six feet. Temperatures will remain high across the country, with coastal areas reaching up to 89 degrees Fahrenheit, inland areas climbing to 96 degrees, and the hill regions peaking around 85 degrees.

Looking ahead to Monday and Monday night, the forecast continues to call for fair and dry weather, with no significant changes expected. The tides today include a low at 6:53 a.m., a high at 1:07 p.m., and another low at 9:03 p.m. Tomorrow’s first high tide is predicted for 3:33 a.m.

Sunrise this morning occurred at 5:19 a.m. and sunset is expected at 6:18 p.m. The moon will set at 10:12 a.m. and rise again at 11:37 p.m. Residents are encouraged to stay hydrated and take necessary precautions against the heat, especially during peak afternoon hours.
