Three Police Sergeants complete warrant officers course with BDF

By Zoila Palma: The Belize Police Department extended congratulations to Sergeants Elder Divas, Johnny Tun, and Kris Staine of the Belize Police Department, who successfully completed the 8-week Warrant Officers Course conducted by the Belize Defense Force.

The rigorous program, which concluded on May 15, focused on leadership, administration, military law and ethics, and effective communication—key areas that enhance readiness for senior roles within the police force.

The Belize Police Department extended its gratitude to the BDF for leading the course and supporting cross-agency training efforts. These shared lessons are seen as critical to strengthening leadership and improving operational effectiveness within the department.

A total of 11 officers graduated from the course.

The Belize Police Department proudly recognizes its three sergeants for their achievement and continued dedication to professional development.
