Community meeting hosted for final design of Santa Cruz–San Jose and Jose Farm Roads

By Zoila Palma:  Over 25 residents from Santa Cruz and San Jose participated in a well-attended community meeting to review the final design of the Santa Cruz–San Jose Road and Jose Farm Road projects, including environmental and social considerations.

The presentation was led by representatives from Beston Consulting Ltd. and featured guest speakers, including the Area Representative for Toledo West and the Director for Indigenous People’s Affairs.

The meeting was facilitated by community leaders, Resilient Rural Belize Project Manager, Civil Engineer, Monitoring, and Evaluation Officer and CSAEO.
