By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Premier League of Belize has unveiled the standout players from the 2024-2025 Closing Season, with Port Layola’s Latrell Middleton emerging as the Most Valuable Player (Golden Ball) of the regular season. Despite Port Layola’s early exit in the semifinals at the hands of San Pedro Pirates, their exceptional regular-season performance earned them multiple individual accolades. On the sidelines, Marvin Ottley was recognized as Best Coach, emphasizing Port Layola’s strategic strength throughout the campaign.

Jordy Polanco received the Best Midfielder accolade, and Lorin Frazer was named Best Manager. Additionally, Verdes FC was acknowledged for their playing style and discipline, earning titles as the Most Entertaining Team and the Fair Play Award winners.
