By Breaking Belize News Staff: Belizeans can expect mostly fair weather today, with sunshine and scattered clouds dominating the skies, according to the National Meteorological Service. While inland areas will remain largely dry, southern and coastal regions may see a few showers or isolated thunderstorms later this evening.
Forecaster Francisca Wellington says the overall pattern remains stable, though some moisture lingering in the atmosphere could result in cloudy skies and brief downpours, particularly along the Stann Creek and Toledo coasts after nightfall.
The heat will be intense inland, with temperatures soaring to 95°F (35°C). Coastal areas will be slightly cooler at around 89°F (32°C), while the hills are expected to remain comfortable near 83°F (28°C).
Boaters are being cautioned, as winds from the east are expected to blow at 10–20 knots, producing moderate to rough seas with waves between 5 to 7 feet. A Small Craft Caution remains in effect due to gusty conditions.
Looking ahead, Saturday will bring similar weather patterns, with warm days, some cloudiness, and the chance of evening showers along the coast and in the south.
