Belize City man shot after argument

By Aaron Humes: Police are investigating a shooting incident that left a 26-year-old man injured.

On Thursday, June 12, about 11:35 p.m., police responded to a report on Maskall Street, Belize City. Upon arrival, officers were informed that one Jevon Ramclam had sustained gunshot wounds and was transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH).

Initial investigations revealed that around 11:20 p.m., Ramclam was socializing at home with others when an argument reportedly broke out. During the altercation, a man allegedly pulled out a firearm and fired several shots at Ramclam, injuring him. Ramclam was later transported to the KHMH, where he is receiving treatment for his injuries.
