By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service reports that a moderate east to southeast airflow is currently influencing weather patterns across the country, bringing in moisture and maintaining warm temperatures.

Today’s forecast calls for generally sunny skies with a few cloudy periods. Most areas will remain dry, but scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected this morning and afternoon, especially along coastal regions and northern Belize. Tonight, skies will be partly cloudy, with limited shower activity except for the far south, where a few showers may develop.

Winds will blow from the east to southeast at 10 to 20 knots, and the sea state will be moderate with waves reaching 4 to 6 feet. Temperatures will peak at 95°F inland, 89°F along the coast, and 83°F in the hills.

Looking ahead to Saturday and Saturday night, the forecast includes cloudy intervals and a few showers or isolated thunderstorms primarily along the coast and over southern areas.

No tropical cyclone activity is expected in the North Atlantic Basin over the next 48 hours.
