Tech thief strikes K.A.B. Technologies in Orange Walk Town, steals six cellphones

By Aaron Humes: A brazen robbery occurred this weekend when, at approximately 10:44 AM on Saturay morning, a man, armed and dangerous, held up K.A.B. Technologies on San Antonio Road, Orange Walk Town, making off with six cellphones.

According to police, the suspect, described as a Hispanic male, entered the store and threatened the cashier with a firearm, demanding cash and mobile devices. The robbery was captured on the store’s surveillance cameras, and investigators are now reviewing the footage to identify the suspect.

Police Staff Officer ASP Stacy Smith detailed: “The proprietors of that store reported that a male person of Hispanic descent entered the business place and pointed a firearm at the cashier, demanding that she hand over money and cellphones. The male person stole a total of six cellphones and made good his escape. The police investigation into this matter continues.”

Orange Walk Police are urging anyone with information about the suspect or the robbery to come forward and report any suspicious activity.
