Quality Poultry celebrates 50 years with motorcade in Belize City

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Quality Poultry Products is celebrating 50 years of serving Belizeans with a motorcade through the streets of Belize City this Saturday. The event is part of the company’s golden anniversary and is meant to honor its customers and staff for their continued support over the past five decades.

According to Andre Selgado, Manager of Quality Poultry, the motorcade is not just a celebration, but an opportunity to show the public what goes into delivering fresh chicken to homes across the country.

“We’re doing something different this year. Every district will have their own event,” Selgado said. “This Saturday is Belize City’s turn. We’ll be taking the same route as the fire engine parade, celebrating with our customers right in the heart of the city.”

Selgado emphasized that the event will offer an inside look at how chicken gets from their farms to the table. He said many people don’t realize the effort involved — including a fleet of refrigerated trucks, distribution chains to the islands, and buses used to shuttle staff daily.

While the company won’t be handing out free chicken at the motorcade itself, each Quality Poultry retail location will be hosting their own mini fair with special deals.
