By Aaron Humes: Police have charged a 14-year-old boy from Orange Walk following an investigation with “using a computer system to publish image of a private area.”

It follows a report by a 20-year-old female to Orange Walk Police on June 16 that she had lost her cell phone three days earlier. The phone contained several nude photographs of the female, which she said had been distributed to her friends through her accounts on Facebook and Instagram, which were logged in.

An investigation led by the Department’s Information Technology and CyberCrime Unit led to the arrest of the minor and recovery of the lost cell phone.
