By Aaron Humes: A family is urgently seeking answers after 14-year-old Aurora Gonzalez went missing from her home on Sunday morning. The teenager was last seen when her stepmother, Dania Redondo, checked her bedroom around 9 a.m. and found her absent.
Since then, there has been no sign of Aurora, prompting police to intensify their investigation. Authorities have identified a man from Benque Viejo as a person of interest and are seeking to speak with him regarding the disappearance.
Aurora Gonzalez is described as being fair-skinned, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, and weighing about 105 pounds. Family members and authorities are pleading for the public’s assistance in locating her.
ASP Stacy Smith, Staff Officer, stated, “Persons are encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 922 or the nearest police station if Gonzalez or [the person of interest] are seen.”
