Shooting reported at corner of Vernon and Partridge Streets

By Aaron Humes: Police are investigating a shooting that occurred on Friday afternoon at the intersection of Vernon Street and Partridge Street. Initial reports indicate that a male victim sustained injuries, though details regarding his condition remain unconfirmed at this time.

Witnesses in the area described hearing gunfire around 4:30 PM, which led to a swift response from emergency services. Police were on the scene shortly after, securing the area and beginning their investigation into the incident. 

As of now, the motive behind the shooting is unclear, and no suspects have been apprehended.
