Belize Electricity Limited (BEL) said that the outage, which will affect the entirety of Ambergris Caye, began at 7:00 a.m. and will run until 3:00 p.m.

BEL said that the area affected runs along the George Price Highway and that crews have been deployed in an effort to restore power to affected [...]

BEL noted that the outage, which was scheduled to affect the Cayo and Belize Districts, was postponed until further notice, due to the current weather conditions.

The outage is set to run from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and will affect the Placencia Peninsula from Surfside Lagoon Residences to Plantation, including Plantation, [...]
