According to Maheia, Sunday’s activity was meant to reinforce awareness of the Belize border and that there should be no disputing where Belize ends and where Guatemala begins.

Among the group of persons who traveled to the border experts who helped with GPS tracking to ensure that the BTV volunteers and supporters did not cross into Guatemala inadvertently and that the coconut trees are planted on the Belize side of the border.
