By BBN Staff: Assistant Commissioner of Police, Chester Williams has announced that they have arrested and charged Geovanni Bracket, President of COLA and 4 other persons who they believe are responsible for the burning of tires on the Belcan Bridge.

Williams stated that the arrest came “after a very methodical investigation into the matter and not as some are suggesting that it is politically motivated.”

He applauded the teachers for protesting in a peaceful manner and urged others that are doing so to be peaceful as well.

Williams also reiterated that the police remain on high alert to ensure safety of all the protesters as well as those who are spectators.
