Thugs stash Glock at the cemetery

By BBN Staff: With increased penalties for offenses involving firearms, criminals have become more creative in concealing their weapons.

Police, however, have strengthened their intelligence gathering techniques and on Sunday afternoon, acting on intelligence police found a Glock .9mm pistol at the Lord Ridge Cemetery in Belize City.

At around 2:00 p.m. officers visited the area where they found a black plastic bag under a tree near a tomb.

Inside the bag, the firearm was discovered.

It was labelled and deposited at the police station as found property.
