Minor charged for pen gun

Monday, September 28^th, 2015. BMG: While on a mobile patrol in the Salvapan area of Belmopan, around 3:35 p.m. on Saturday, September 26th, police officers noticed two male persons walking and one of them dropping an object to the ground.

The males were escorted back to the area where the object was dropped and officers retrieved a chrome colored pen gun. A 16-year-old male of Maya Mopan Village was then arrested and charged for the offense of “Kept Prohibited Firearm”.
