Belize to hold regional writers’ conference

By BBN Staff: “The Writer as Inspiration for National Unity, Self-Confidence, and Pride,” is this year’s theme for a regional writers’ conference that will be held at the Mount Carmel High School in Benque Viejo Del Carmen.

The event is scheduled for May 6 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Writers and poets from Belize, Mexico and Guatemala will be attending this event.

In the morning, there will be an English presentation, while a Spanish presentation will be held in the afternoon.
