By BBN Staff:Yesterday Joshua Jones did not show up in court and so his robbers walked free from their charges.
In November 2016 Jones was walking in Belize City when he was allegedly attacked by Matthew Smith and Dowellson Blair.
In the process, the men made off with his chain.
Police pursued the men but caught Smith who they said threw away the chain.
The duo was later charged with robbery and wounding.
However, those charges have now been withdrawn against them.
