Land titles for Government-led housing programs to be expedited

2.      The loan through which the house was built has already been fully repaid or forgiven by the Government of Belize, AND

3.      The land on which the house is built is confirmed to be National Land.

Applicants will now be able to apply to purchase their land directly, providing that they supply all the documentation necessary to support that the property under the Housing Project has been fully paid.

In instances where persons have applied for leases and are awaiting the completion of the process, they are invited to visit the Office of the Commissioner of Lands and Surveys to organize and complete their applications or to apply for purchase.

This initiative will be implemented immediately.
